The 'What to Watch Next' module appears for viewers who have subscribed to your channel to encourage them to continue engaging with your videos. This section is dynamic in that we always show viewers content that they haven't seen.
Here's how content is shown on the 'What to Watch Next' module:
- If you currently have a live streaming event, this will be shown in the 'What to Watch Next' module.
- If a viewer got to your channel from a TrueView In-Search ad, it will show the promoted video in 'What to Watch Next'.
- If none of the above apply but the viewer has recently watched a video from your channel, it will show your first 'Related' upload. This video is the one that shows as the top-left thumbnail in 'Related videos' in the video player when a video ends.
- If none of the above apply, it will show the most recent upload for your channel.
